We want to do everything we can to help you succeed in launching a healthy, multiplying church. So we’ve developed (with a lot of help) a process that will take you step-by-step from where you are right now to launch day and beyond.

- Step 1: Initial Contact
- If you are interested in beginning a conversation about planting a new church in Northwest Indiana, please contact us today!
- Step 2: Pre-Assessment
- At this stage in the process, we will have you fill out an application, including references. Using this tool, along with a personal phone interview, we will begin to help you determine if planting a church in Northwest Indiana is a fit for you and your ministry strengths.
- Step 3: Formal Assessment
- We will partner with you to help you attend a formal church planting assessment. This is a 2-3 day event that will help you and your spouse understand more of what it takes to plant a church and clarify what your specific call to ministry is.
- Step 4: Expectations Interview
- At this point in the process, we will hold an interview with you and your spouse to outline what will be expected of our team, of your sponsoring church(es), and of you. Our hope is to make all of the expectations very clear, eliminating any confusion. This also allows for accountability for you, your sponsoring church(es), and our team.
- Step 5: Project Proposal
- Now is the time that you put your call, your research, and your personal gifts on paper to create a proposal. In what area will you plant? What will the church’s ministries be? What is the church’s target? Who will be on the launch team? The goal of this process is to state as clearly as possible what the new church will look like and how it will function.
- Step 6: Call
- Here’s where things get exciting. Once the proposal is approved, a formal call will be given by the team, and you will relocate (if necessary), recruit a launch team, and begin to work toward the launch of the new church.
- Step 7: Support Team
- After the call is received, you will establish a support team. There can be three components to your support team: a prayer team, a financial support team, and a launch team.
- Step 8: Funding
- We offer matching grants to our church plants of up to $25,000. These may be applied for each year, for up to $25,000 the first year, up to $20,000 the second year, and so on. The grants are given to those who raise at least 1/3 on their own through fundraising, a job, etc, and 1/3 from their sponsoring church(es). The grant from our team will match these amounts.
- Step 9: Coaching
- We offer ongoing coaching from pre-launch until the church is officially organized a few years after launch. This one-on-one coaching is incredibly valuable to help with issues that come up during and after the planting process.
- Step 10: Launch
- The launch date is only the beginning of how God will choose to use you and his new church.
